Lost & Found
GHFH Lower School lost and found rack is located in the hallway behind the receptionist desk, just inside the back door exiting to the playground. The Upper School Lost and Found is in a locked closet--the front desk staff will allow students to check it during their break or Lyceum times only.
Parents and caregivers are advised to clearly label students’ belongings with the student’s first and last name. Regular checks of items are necessary to ensure the name is still visible.
Items typically placed in the lost and found include: backpacks, bags, sweaters, jackets, belts, water bottles, lunch boxes, food containers, masks and hair accessories.
All labeled items will be returned to the owner.
Unlabeled items will be tagged and date stamped each Friday.
Unlabeled items that remain in the lost and found by the fourth Friday will be donated to the school Spirit Store for resale.
Photos of unlabeled items remaining in the lost and found on the third Friday will be shown on the website under the heading “Last Call,” giving one additional week for the item to be claimed before donation.
If you recognize any pictured unlabeled item, please email Cheryl Laurie at tc.laurie@satx.rr.com with a detailed item description of the item and full name of the student the item belongs to, so that item can be returned to the appropriate student.
